Mark B. Baker, MD 

• Dr. Baker graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2000 and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.  In 1996, He received his Bachelor of Arts from Hendrix College (Conway, Arkansas) and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a major in History and minor in Chemistry.  From 2000 to 2005, he finished a General Surgery internship and Urology residency at the University of South Florida, which included training at Tampa General Hospital, James A. Haley VA, Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital, and Moffitt Cancer Center.  He has been in private practice in Brandon and Sun City Center since August of 2005.  He currently has operative privileges at Brandon Regional Hospital, Southbay Hospital, Tampa General Hospital, and Town & Country Hospital.
  
  Dr. Baker became board certified in Urology in 2007.  He is a member of the American Urological Association, Southeastern Section of the AUA, and the American Society for Clinical Urologists.  Besides caring for all aspects of general urology, Dr. Baker’s clinical interests include female urology and voiding dysfunction, minimally invasive therapies for Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy, and Laparoscopic surgery, including robotic prostatectomy.
